Shoot against the water of the pool using shallow DOF to create a more interesting shot.............. 55mm manual macro with close up tube 500 f5.6 hand held 200iso.........There is NO PP in this shot only shot on raw and opened with NO changes in raw......... converted to jpeg for down sizing.....Cheers bp

The thing i like about this picture is the fantastic contrasting colours. The orange an the blue really go very well together. Both colours are very intense. However. for my liking, i think the DOF is too shallow, but i can appreciate what you have attempted to do.

BP - I like this pic - the shallow DOF helps focus the eye to one narrow plane but more importantly, the two colours aid and abett this DOF :D

big pix - simply stunning contrast colours. I personally like everything about this shot, even the shallow DOF 8) .

BigPix I think the contrasing colours are quite stunning however for my taste the extreme short DOF is off putting.
But please take my comments with a grain of salt as I am VERY inexperienced.

Love the colours in the photo as usual :) Not really overwhelmed by the DOF tho, would've preferred if the entire centre part of the flower was in focus and the rest just a blurry haze :)
