Polly Has His Eye On YouA Bird I took a while ago, found another image of him thought you might like. Mic Yes, he has a busted beak
Holy crap that's cool Mic. Wonderful colors, and the out of focus beak makes the picture a little less overbearing than otherwise. That is a really shallow depth of field, the eye just barely sits focused and absolutely nothing else. I suppose Focus could be a little deeper, but hey this is pretty good. That green is just dynomite!!!
This one disappoints me a bit, Mic. You often stun, but you seldom disappoint.
That green is a killer color, but it makes the other colors look even duller by comparison. Amazing that you got the focus crisp on the eye. I think it would have worked better if the focus had extended to include all of the green of the "forehead." Nice pic, but not a "10.0" Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.
Beautiful colors and great exposure, Mic. A few more meters of DOF would make it perfect...
Yes, even if I'm an ignorant Yank that drives on the wrong side of the road, I do know the difference between MM, CM, and M. my gallery of so-so photos

Mic - a normal pic
Great colour, the eye is perfect and I can almost see him/her saying ”pretty polly” with a lisp (through the offset beak) Chris
