Nikkor 50mm f1.4D ShotsExcluding some test shots around the house last night, here are the first shots taken with my 50mm 1.4D that I recently bought on eBay:
1/320, f/2.2 1/80, f/4 1/320, f/4 1/640, f/4 Comments and critique welcome. Sorry if the compositions aren't more interesting. I was limited to what I found behind the office where I work I really like this lens a lot. The color and sharpness seem overwhelmingly natural in comparison to my kit lens or my sigma 70-300. Thanks to all those who advised me to go with this one! -Rich D70, 18-70 DX, Sigma 70-300 APOII, Nikkor 50mm 1.4D, SB800, Bogen 3046 w/Manfrotto 322RC2 ballhead, Lowepro Nova 2 AW
Rich - the main thing is you are happy
The yellow flower does it for me - a lovely shot especially with the second flower so OOF. Last edited by sirhc55 on Wed May 04, 2005 11:12 am, edited 1 time in total.

That's one sweet lens isn't it. Try some portrait shots with it to (maybe stalk some of your co-workers ) Peter
