Play with the D2X my dear fellow, no, no, no - you bow in due respect and with love, caress its curves whilst you slowly bring it up to your eye and as you look through the eyepiece you discreetly kiss the LCD

birddog never sleeps. I don't think anyone is likely to be there before 8:00

I'll certainly be there this Saturday guys since I'm going to win the challenge (mine was the only entry wasn't it)

Bugger - I'm already rostered on to work this Saturday. Anyone care to take duty and give a full report of the day (with photos?) after the event? :D

OK... I won't put it in quite those terms to my wife, but I'm sure she'll be there... Don't announce the winner of the comp too early...

To echo Matt's sentiments...

I, too, would love to be there but unfortunately the tyranny of distance precludes me from doing so but I'll be there in spirit.

I wish you all a top day.

Hi,I'd like to pop along on Saturday morning if that is OK - I have a photo course at 12:30 so this would be a photo-inspired day... and as I entered the comp it would be nice to be there to congratulate the winner :o

How do I get details of the meet?

As I said Birddog, with the kids playing soccer I have no hope of making the mini meets.

Will look forward to reading how it all went though....enjoy the toys everyone.

I would gladly take full notes and complete a detail report, together with photo's, if someone would like to donate a return airfare to Adelaide  .

See all you guys soon ie early August. It will not take long to pass, actually 92 calendar days, or 67 working days, plus 1 public holiday but who is counting :) .

I'm back

Postby TheJitz on Thu May 05, 2005 1:19 pm

Hi Everybody,

I'm still only new here (a few months anyway) but i've been in Japan trying not to buy every lens they had in THE Nikon shop in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and so have not bee too up to date.

I was lucky enough to meet one of the Sydeny folk the other weekend through my sister - Geoff (how you going mate?) and he told me about the '3' photograph contest. I searched the site but could not find a link or any information if this was a site wide comp or a Birdy do. Could someone please be kind enough to explain the rules, how i submit etc etc. or just tell me where the original link/thread for the rules are.

Thanks guys

You're too late as the 3 comp (challenge 4) has closed. We are at the voting stage now - see this thread for more

A new comp is coming up soonish in time for the August Anniversary conference.
