Question about Exif.

Postby phillipb on Sat May 07, 2005 12:03 am

I've just noticed that the exif in the photo I entered in the competition says No Flash even though I used the built-in flash and the SB-800.
The original RAW file says Flash=Commander TTL.

What Gives?

Hi Phillip
what software did you use to PP your photo ? I think some programs can strip part of the EXIF file when you save it (I "think").

This may account for the difference in EXIF info....??

This may be too late to be of any help, but it could depend on how the gallery is set up.

I know using Jalbum the coding needed to set up the flash info is a little bit more tricky than a lot of the exif data (which is why mine still isn't done.....haven't worked up the energy after nearly a year...oh the shame).

Were any of the other images shot with flash displaying their flash info correctly?

Just a thought....

Cheers
