Sleepy HollowJust about B&W ed out tonight must be something in the Red I'm drinking This is my attempt at a Ghostly Gum, it's on my dads property circa around 400 Years Old ( Tree that is ) not my dad I love the movie Sleepy Hollow ( with Johney Depp in it ) ( The Headless Horseman ) Looks like the Red has got to me again. Off to bed, only to wake up in the morning and see what the hell did I post last night, or maybe the Horseman might claim another for his baaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggggggg Mic.
Mic - this is one of your better shots - I think it has all of the moodiness to recreate Sleepy Hollow perfectly

Thanks Chris, I'm on a roll tonight, 3 above average for me.
I'll have to try and bottle whatever is in my brain tonight, minus the Alc Cheers, Mic.
yup
wonderful shot, again i find it a lil dark on my monitor... anyways, the tree looks amazing, you set the mood perfectly with the conversion as well...
great shot ... i would love to see it if you moved 2 or 3 steps left, so the big chunky tree is closer to the left of frame, that thick middle branch leading the eyes across and more out into the mysterious open space currently in right of the frame
This is really cool, I like the composition, and the subject speaks for itself. The lighting looks a little bit strange to me though. Like it's dark and light at the same time. The sky looks grey but there's light streaming through. It's a truly powerful pic, but I'm just not sure about the light qualities. Has this been processed much? If so I think that maybe the tree itself has been brightened up a tad too much as it looks almost artificial and a bit flat. I do however think it's a great pic, but that one critique sticks out just a little bit.

Thanks guys for all the comments, Dooda, Yes ( heavily PSed ) ( I was in a spooky mood ) Mic. ( No Inverting ) ( Level adjustment ) ( Sepia Filter ) ( Burn ) I forget the rest, too much Red Plonk ( No Moonlight ) But it does look like it a bit, which is what I wanted.
