Mother Nature's Finest?I thought this was one of the most beautiful roses I had ever seen. Hope some of you might agree.

That would be great sport, Chris. Unfortunately the rose sat in this lovely garden along side "Fantasy Island" at the L.A. County Arboretum. Incidentally, the rose picture was shot with the kit lens. Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.

It's a beautiful rose and a great shot, but the colours seem really dull on my work monitor (I'll recheck when I get home). The rose is a very pale apricot colour and the leaves are almost black (a sort of drab dark olive). Peter
