How long to get the rebate?

I got mine on the 1st too. 1 month - 2 days after lodging the thing.

I also had to contact Hayley. I left a message on her answering machine, but got no ring back. I finally received my cheque on the 1st Feb, almost 2 months (less 2days) after I applied !!

Well, Faxed in the rebate this morning, by lunchtime, got an email telling me it had been approved. How fast is that

Can't see much point banking it, may as well just give it to Birddog Hey Birdy, do you accept Maxwell cheques for say a 50mm 1.8 ??

I got the "2 - 4 weeks" email on the 18th of February. I still haven't received my cheque. It has now been 11 weeks since the approval. I have also left a message with Hayley. What annoys me about the voicemail is that is says "if you are calling about the cashback..." Maybe they have to sell more D70s so they can fund the cashback.

I submitted my rebate on the 5th of January...Got the check in the mail about 2 weeks ago. I would assume that they are doing them in batches, rather than having dedicated people consistantly processing them.

From my experience Hayley never returns your call. Apparently she really does exists though. BTW Interesting use of animated gif in your avatar.

Hi guys, first post in a while.

I put my claim in on 14 Jan, waited until end of April and then sent two unanswered emails. Finally a third email suggesting I might get the ACCC involved due to the delays being widely experienced as evidenced by the complaints here. Hey presto - got an instant response and the cheque within 3 days.
