Birdog , Human. or Allien??

Newer members often state that they think their question is too basic, or stupid, or whatever, to be posted. Nothing could be further further from the truth in any section at DSLRUsers.com, but especially here. Don't feel intimidated. The only stupid question is the one that remains unasked. We were all beginners at one stage, and even the most experienced amongst us will admit to learning new stuff on a daily basis. Ask away! Please also refer to the forum rules and the portal page

Birdog , Human. or Allien??

Postby NeoN on Thu May 12, 2005 6:11 pm

I would like to congratulate Birdog for his 6000th post :) .My writing speed is such that Ithought if i start writing this at 4'o'clock i would be ok by 5 o'clock or so ,just in time for the his 6000th post.
It's impossible to read this Forum any day and not see BIRDOG.
Is the guy real or an Alien ? :) :D
Has anybody met him in the flesh?
Or is he a distant relation of [b]HAL
.

Either way I'm sure we are all grateful for his knowledge.

Thanks guys,
I'm a human like others and enjoying the camaraderies on this board.

I worked for myself to fund my toys and sharing the joy with everyone who come to the meets same as distance members who are having the same hobby.

I still use the same keyboard as day 1 when I joined this forum, and wishing to meet everyone in the near future.

Congratulations on turning 6000 biddog. This place wouldn't be the same without you. PS and NeoN I assure you he exists as many can attest. Meeting him in person is an honour many of us have had and one I commend to you all.

Well done Birdie, and to your wife as well - I am sure the clicking of the keyboard would drive most wives insane

See you at 12,000

When we say that the forum wouldn't be the same without you, Birdy, it's literally true.

Over 21 posts per day, and over 9% of all posts.

Not to mention mini-meets, outings, anniversary functions, bargains... the list goes on.

I see it, but I almost don't believe it. Hats off to you. :D
