Finally, I've scanned a few of my B&W's taken of the "stormykids" when they were a little bit younger. The quality isn't that wonderful as I was using VERY old Ilford FP4 that had been in the fridge for a while, and expired! There was also a bit of crap on the scanner when I did the first pic.
I'm pretty sure most of these were taken on my Dad's Leica R4, but cannot remember what lens I was using. VERY nice camera and lens, but I found it hard to control when the subject kept moving! I was using available light from a window, with kids propped up by pillows on the bed!
Hope you enjoy!
Jessica about 3 weeks (excuse the crap in the top right corner!)
Jessica about 5 weeks. I have this as an 8X10 framed on the wall, and should have used a slightly larger apeture to get both eyes in focus. As they say, never work with children or animals! They keep moving, and the camera didn't have auto focus!
Slight camera shake, but I love the emotion of this with stormybloke! (and a dirty negative, unfortunately...)
Ben about 3 weeks.
Ben about 3 weeks. I love this one! I have this on the wall too!
There are a few more to come, but I thought I'd scan that many for starters. I applied a little USM in PSCS, but that was all. Unfortunately I cannot do anything about #3, but you get the idea! #2 is still my fav!

To Stormygirl, Stormyblock and Stormykids - a wonderful set of memories, and the last one shows that beautiful hand action that very young babies have.
Now all we need is a pic of Stormygirl

They're all great, but I particularly love no 4 - wide eyed and ready to take in everything the world has to offer. Absolutely irresistable.

Great Stormy,
You have done well, not only giving birth but you can take a pic as well
Women amaze me
The last one with the little hands in focus, well done.
Cheers,
Mic.

Those are terrific, Stormygirl. Beautiful infants. Be sure to take at least one picture of them every day!
No. 4 of Ben gets my vote for Numero Uno.
Nice to see some b&w film shots. They looked fine, and you could easily PP the little bits of stuff with the Healing Brush or Clone Tool if they still bother you.
Hard work pays off in the future. Laziness pays off now.
