Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.
Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.
Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

do you mean the one on page 1 ("heading home") or page 4? (the journey home")
the one on page 1 was taken while on ground, page 4 one was from 30k feet on sunset.

Hard choice, Darb. I would go for 'Feeling the Weight' & 'Breaking Through'.

Has the same effect on me too... Keep wondering what's out there... darb wrote:funny that i use references to heaven a bit ... yet im agnostic. (borderline aethiest.)
I'm not sure whether I'm agnostic or dyslexic, I lay awake at night, wondering if there really is a dog...
Sorry, someone had to say it
Cheers.

ive just done mine, so far so good. Nothing really useful for me except prettier menu.
the faster AF only applies if youre shooting in dynamic area or closest subject AF modes. I shoot using fixed centre AF point so i believe theres no benefit for me.)
about to shoot a nef and see how i go in cs / acr

Gees Darb, you make the choice VERY difficult! There are some fabulous images here!
For me? I reckon "Searchlights from Heaven" or "Sacrifice and Honour"......but it's a tough one!

Brad - I particularly like Nature's Fury - it's a very explosive shot, and the lighting is just great Enjoyed the gallery very much.

Heading Home... although, search lights from heaven is pretty damn fantastic as well.

Darb, I am insanely jealous of you. Looks like you spend your entire existance travelling to beautiful locations with beautiful women, drinking beer and taking photos.
A very hard choice but I think that Searchlights of Heaven is my pick with Heading Home and Gooralong Brook close in there

Darb
I have not been in the forum long but would have to say that you do great work. My vote would have to go to "Searchlights of Heaven" I love the colour of the water.
Thanks for sharing, your gallery gives me inspiration to get out there and try harder.
