Prolabs?Hi All,
Does anyone know of any prolabs in Canberra? I've been told Bica Prolab is pretty good but am keen to find others as well Chris
gday Chris,
I think Bica/Canlab are the gun guys around here but you could also try Atlantic in civic (6247 6423). They don't seem to be as big and professional but they do offer slide processing and everything they've ever done for me was good. There's also Photographics International in kingston (6295 8555) who may be pro-ish, never tried them but spoke to the boss and he sounds like he knows his stuff. I guess it sort of depends what you want done - processing, developing, clip tests, prints, scanning etc. There are also specialist places for post development stuff like scanning. Hi -Res Solutions in Braddon (saw their shop the other day but never used them) 6248 5611. cheers, adam He who knows how to laugh at himself will never cease to be amused...
To be perfectly honest, I will be getting some of my stuff done at teds in future...
At 3.95 for a 8x12 its good value.. I got a couple of prints done and compared them to stuff I had done by Vision graphics in sydney and they match up pretty well (and less than 1/2 the cost) New page

Yeah, i use Teds for all my day to day stuff. I have had some superior stuff from Bica/Canlab and use them when i really want quality and don't mind the $$$. That they also do slide etc is a big winner.
