Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Please also ensure that you have a meaningful location included in your profile. Please refer to the FAQ for details of what "meaningful" is.

Practising Paraglider
Was driving home from taking the dogs to the park when I saw this guy. I turned around and he let me shoot off a heap of images
I like the second one Mark... Seems more balanced than the first one...
Were these taken after he had landed? Reminds me of the hair-raising tandem jump I did off a mountain in Queenstown, NZ... As I didn't have to do much, I was able to shoot with the video camera all the way down... Including the bit where I landed on my bum...  Cheers, John

Yes I liked the second one the most but then someone commented that the "chute" was cutting the image in half.
The guy was just standing on an oval practising keeping the balance of the "chute". I have the rest of the pics here. They show a bit more of what he was doing.
Para-sailing would be such a buzz, I've been hang-gliding a few times but they're too much like a dart in the air.
The last time I went, I met a dude who was a para-sailor and very experienced, he even took his lunch up with him! They sit in a type of seat so it would be a fantastic way to cruise around... Aka Andrew
