Best thumbnail creator?

I am trying to find a program that creates thumbnail images for printing on an A4 page. It would need to work quickly and easily as it would be used to show people images available for prints on-site. Any ideas?

Quoting my reply to a similar thread yesterday:

I use automator to do this.

I just copy the photos I want into a folder, and run a self made automator script.

The script builds the contact sheet, saves it as a pdf for later use, prints out the pdf, and while it's printing, the script deletes the photos from the folder. All with one click.

Building the script was dead easy, just drag and drop actions.

These macs are just so easy to use, I am constantly wondering why some people contiune to bash them.

Didn't you just do that yourself.

Answer to your Q is Qimage will also do this and can print metadata as well, as can Nikon View. SO aside from not searching did you look at the software you already have

Its amazing what you learn from this site from programs you have but have not fully checked out what they can do ..
