First *real* paid jobOut of the blue!
Just got a call from a Law student at college asking me to shoot the law competition on at university this saturday.... I was pretty generous, charging only an hourly rate and no retainer (they only want an hours shooting) so its not a big money venture but nice to get the business! Now to go check out the venue... and on the subject, does anyone use a contract/document to sign the pictures to the client, but not the copyright
Something that says: "You can use these images but you cant claim the copyright" ? New page

I'm sure you could get the Law student to whip up a contract...but then again his hourly rate may be more than yours...
hehe... thats why I didnt whip up one of my own as I think it might look funny! Yeah, I have told them to expect 10-15 PPed shots on CD. and I expect to get 20 (so they will be happy). I also asked for a shoot-list of about 10 I'm charging a rate that makes it worth my while being there (remember I am a student and it does not take much!) Sounds like an interesting subject to shoot, basically mock trials in a judged competition.... New page

MHD,
Charge as much as you can, cos those guys will become a bastard liars and ripping off our citizen in the near future And get enough monies to pay off your next lust. Birddog114
