digitor,

digitor wrote:Nice one fozzie! Great day for it, wish I'd been there

Is that a couple of dust bunnies at the top of the frame, or something on the lens?

Cheers

I think it is something on the lens at the time, what a shame. Thank you for picking it up.

Cheers,
Leighton

That's a novel Idea, Big V uses the polariser behind the viewfinder instead of in front of the lens.

That turned out well.

For those not present. How was this photo taken without a tripod or a stranger handling the camera :?: :D

LOL I have done that plenty of times - it doesn't look good when you double polarise! 8)

Baby came early...

Postby EnzyG on Thu Jun 02, 2005 7:33 pm

Sorry I couldnt make it, but things happened a week ahead of schedule: I have a baby daughter :)

7lb 5oz Happy and healthy mum and baby :)

Plently of things to photograph at home now ;)

Looking at the pics, seems like everyone had a good time, and I would have been seriously "out-glassed" by all those big Nikkors!

Congratulations :) .

Excellent news about Mother and baby being happy and healthy. It is always a relief.

Big V the Canon 300D user was sporting a 'Sigma' 80-400 OS. The others were Nikkor.

Look forward to seeing you at our next Meet.

Cheers,
fozzie

Hi EnzyG,
Congratulations! What is her name?? Glad to hear that everything went well. I'll bet you are having a great time photographing your new addition, that is if you can keep your eyes open long enough! Have you got some time off? I hope you enjoy your new baby and congratulations to your wife too (and well done  )

Hehe....Catherine Helen. Yes we can keep our eyes open - she seems to be pretty relaxed so far :) We are tag teaming the feeding (mum, D'Oh!) and settling (me) routine at night, so that we both get sleep...

I have 2 weeks off, and have taken many pictures so far, my new (to me) Pentax SMC f/1.4 50mm is very nice for available light, and boy does the Sigma 500 DG super flash do a great job.

Thanks again for the good wishes :)
