Have just spent the last hour trying to find a clear description of the picture posting requirements as well. I know it is here somewhere?
Believe you need to have your images stored in an image bank online - but I stand to be corrected.

Image/Image size/select pixels and bingo...upload to PixSpot.

Open your image in PixSpot, click it for larger image then select properties. Copy/paste the location into your post. Highlight it and click on the "Img" button..........done!

I know people are supposed to ignore the FAQ, but we put some effort in and made it so that questions like this can be diverted to it:

Nnnnsic is correct, but I know when you first attempt this it is a rather new way of uploading a file with a few extra steps that you need to get your head around.

Just trying to help! Good luck. Look forward to seeing the posts.

Stephen, when you get to posting images, please remember to optimise for web eg make the thing fairly compressed so it loads quickly! (eg File - Save for web)

Looking forward to seeing your images!

I think i may need to do that Max as i am having trouble getting the pics to upload.I am in pixspot and i upload the images which is taking around 2-3 mins with adsl and then it says i have succesfully loaded them and to click continue to choose a gallery to add them to which i click then i just get a blank white page???. I will have aplay around tonight and see how i go.
My photography work is non existent so dont expect much from my shots at the moment but i am here to learn :P Cheers

Stephen,

As a suggestion, resize the photo to say 10"x7" (or thereabouts) and at 72dpi, then optimise it for the web, giving you an image of about 50kb-150kb. This is fine for web viewing. See how you go. And don't worry about your photos being good or bad or whatever, this forum is excellent for giving constructive advice on how to improve your photography. Max
