D70 eyepiece on a D70

Postby trebs on Mon May 30, 2005 8:37 pm

Hi all,

Has anyone tried the newer D70s rubber eyepiece on a D70? I wonder if it fits. I lost my D70 rubber bit this weekend and before getting a new one I was wondering if the newer one was better, more comfy, etc..

Other alternatives are welcome too.. any ideas?

Cheers.
Rob.

i thought i lost mine at the nation MTB championships and shot without it for a couple of months and honestly i didn't notice then i actually found it in the car and it took me two weeks to actually re fit it. if you need a new one i would try ebay before buying retail for little things

If you wear glasses like I do the eyepiece is a necessity and the darned thing gets knocked off so easily. There has to be a better way. :?

nodabs, you're right. I hardly notice the difference. Just shows the thing is as useful as a chocolate teapot.
I'd still look for an alternative to cut out any light intrusion from behind.
