Macro Inversion?

Newer members often state that they think their question is too basic, or stupid, or whatever, to be posted. Macro Inversion?

Saw this thread here http://www.d70users.com/viewtopic.php?p=72378#72378 and have what is likely a stupid question, what is this "inversion" people talk about?

It is the current term for "negative" Finno.

For atleast three months Mic was, not only inverting all of his own pics but everyone else's as well. He's been behaving for the time being, but I hear his medicine is running low.

It actually makes for a pretty cool effect.
