So, no more Kodak Pro DSLR in the future

Postby birddog114 on Wed Jun 01, 2005 7:27 am

Kodak confirm SLR/n and SLR/c discontinued.
Kodak will continue to develop CCD and CMOS image sensors.
What happens to all $15k Kodak DSLR after 2008? they will be in the museum by then.
Kodak fans will cry hard.

If it drops to below 300, I'll buy one.

Maybe.

I would buy one cheap, like Leigh's price, but hard to justify with the D2X available.

Yes, but think of the noise.

The heavy noise has got to be worth losing the extra 50 bucks you tacked on. :P

If it ever happens, I'd probably buy one.

It IS an extra body. :)

Might make a nice warm extra body while the wife is away. Just set it to bulb, let the sensor heat up, snuggle, and then turn it off in the morning.

It also would make an extrar handy hammer in case you lost yours and needed it while taking photos.

Well, while you're taking pictures of a local Westfield at a local Westfield, it works as a handy tool to say.. "Ok... here.. I've deleted them... see... none on my professional camera..."
