Xmas Dinner Meet at 7:00PM 10th December

Postby birddog114 on Mon Nov 08, 2004 3:54 pm

Finally, I have secured a room for our community at one of the restaurant in Hurstville and following is listing of members, who're going to attend

The Xmas Dinner Meet at the Heritage Seafood Restaurant
33-35 Dora Street/ Corner Queens Road, Hurstville NSW.

Gary 3
MJ 1
MHD 2
Glen 1
Killakoala 1
Sheepie 1
Matt. K 2
Onyx 1
Kristine 1 (2?)
Birddog 2
GeoffC 2
Dargan 2

Edit: I've just remembered: Dargan asked me 2 seats, cos he visit his family on those days. Sorry Dargan!

So far i have 19 attendees, if there's a missing name or seat, please PM me, and I reserved two large table which is 12/ table = 24 seats

And we have 5 seats to fill

There's a huge carpark beside the restaurant and it's opposite Hurstville Library, at the corner of Dora St and Queens Road.

Sheepie can confirm this, can't you?

Is 7:00PM OK with everyone?

I'll keep everyone posted details of their menu and costing/ person in the next coupa days.[/i]

Birddog,

Excellent!

That means, of course, that there is still room for 7 more bums on seats should any members decide they want to join us for what will undoubtedly be a great evening.

We do have some light duties that might need to be allocated ... like, who's going to be taking the photos. :)

Thanks for organising yet another thing for our community Birddog!

I need a lift - can anyone help? Hurstville is 1.5 hours by train for me (due to having to change trains).

Onyx,

One way or another we'll get you there without having to endure the wonders of the Sydney public transport ...

..

..

At the very worst, I can collect you in the city, but I'm sure that as Lindy and I finalise our own arrangments, we'll come up with something better than that, and that's also provided that nobody else comes up with a better offer.

Thanks for the offers of rides everyone. I'm more north-west, towards the hills district than the southwest (Liverpool, MattK's area). I have no doubt something will work out closer to the date.

Just a timely reminder for all of those who are coming tomorrow:

Heritage Seafood Restaurant
33-35 Dora Street (Corner Queens Road),
Hurstville NSW

7:00 pm

For Birddog's convenience, please place your payment into a sealed envelope, with your name on the outside, and give it to him at some stage during the night. This way we can all enjoy the evening, rather than have people chasing up payments etc.

Thanx all for your cooperation.

If so, do we put our real names, or our nicknames?
