TangoI thought I share one of my favourite photograph taken with my 4 month old D70. The shot was hand held at 70 mm F4.5 ISO 1000. By no means is it a perfect shot, WB was a huge issue since every light source was beamed on stage. I shot in RAW and played with the WB later.
This is my first image attachment and I hope it works Feedback most welcomed.
Interesting shot, nito, especially the cool costumes.
Prolly should have used a macro lens for a better look at the SYT though..... my gallery of so-so photos

Thanks Kerry. A macro lens is on my long wish list. I'm on NAS suppressoin tablets at the moment. btw what is a SYT? The shot was a traditional Argentinean tango.
ahh... that bites... usually doesn't leave scars though.

Nito - this would make a great shot for deep etching and then placing into another pic - such as a night shot of a boardwalk or similar - a great pic to play with IMO

Thank you. That would be an excellent idea, but my skills in photoshop are crap. Limited to contrast and levels.
Very cool, thanks for posting the others. They're very good shots. The SYT smiling is my fav! my gallery of so-so photos
