TC-17

Postby nigels on Mon Jun 06, 2005 5:01 pm

Hi Guys,

This may have been answered before, but can't find it.

My TC-17 has a "movable part" that flops round until I fit it to the lens. It is just inside, adjacent to where it fits on to the lens.

Is this normal, I noticed it sometime ago, but haven't asked the question before

Regards

Many thanks Birdy, I believe this has been mentioned before.

By the way Mr Birddog, if I ever get the opportunity to visit a minimeet in Sydney, what do I need to bring other than a reasonable red.

It sounds that the participants have a great and informative time, although it sounds a good idea to leave the cheque book and wallet at home.

What do I need to bring in the way of tucker?

Nigel,
Try to make it at the AA meets, go into the Saturday or Sunday nights.
A Red will do, we have most of stuff down here.

That "floppy" thing hooks up to the little metal lug just inside the throat of your camera. It lets the camera know what f/stop the lens is on and it also keeps the lens at its biggest f/stop until you actually trip the shutter. This allows the maximum amount of light into your viewfinder which makes focussing easier.
