I have officialled at that Rally the past couple years, but have moved to Canberra for uni, so I missed out this year. They are great photos! Canon User

Ozonejunkie, this year there were only four main spectator spots and over the two days I just kept moving around. The hardest point to get to was Cutters Hump. There always seemed to be a mob of press photogs there.
Very cool shots, especially the ones with wheels in the air.

Hi Trevor, top shots mate. I see in your #3 photo jack getting a few wheels of the ground. I see he has added few more stickers to the car but yeh here is a pic i took when they had the rally down here but was late in the afternoon and in the midle of a pine forest and dark, but i liked the way the shot came out. All great shots you have there and lots of dust.LOL
Cheers Here is 1 of my pics of Jack. D3,D2x,D70,18-70 kit lens,Sigma 70-200mm F2.8EX HSM,Nikon AF-I 300m F2.8, TC20E 2X

Whilst I'd love to take credit for these pix, in the interests of fairness I must point out that I had nothing to do with them.
They were taken by oneputt (John) - I only had the first comment after his original post. And, they are very good images. TFF (Trevor)

The photo of the Toyota is a ripper! I may be slightly biased because I'm an avid Toyota fan
What happened to the Globalstar Evo? Did it roll or damage anything at all? Judging from your photo, it looks like the driver's front wheel drop into a ditch :S I hope you had some sort of blower to tediously remove all that dust and crap from your camera after the weekend Great photos and looks like heaps of fun! can't wait to watch the highlights on tellie.
Piro the highlights are on Ch10 next Sunday afternoon. Spent the whole eveing cleaning dust out of every nook and cranny. Will be checking for dust bunnies this afternoon.
The Evo managed to stay on all fours.
Great shots John. I wanted to get to this but (as always) had other committments.
But by oneputt's survey two out of every five rally cars are Subies! Cheers Peter my karma just ran over your dogma
Great shots Oneputt - you've certainly caught the feel of the action. I went to the Rally of Canberra a few weeks ago - my first rally - and it was great (dusty) fun. BTW, I also really like the frames around your shots - how are they done?
