Forum rules
Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread.

Mic, why don't you try inverting sometime? Interesting effect maybe? I think you've got a handle on this photo

I like it, albeit a tad Halloweenishly gimmiky. Makes me want to see the original.

It just looks inverted ( & therefore artificial ) to me...

Mic learn a new effect ;)

I first thought this was glass as the image was partial loaded. Then I realised Mic was the Author and realised it was just inverted.

There was a young fellow called mic
Who learned a post processing trick
He inverted his shots
And he did lots and lots
Quick mic, give inversions the flick!

Haa Ha Max

Cheers, dooda, I thought you would like

Leek, Well it depends on how you view things I'd say :?

Kipper, well I could say try shooting something different as in Gorilla's instead of Birds

I choose to invert, so to hell with you all :D

Greg, see above :D Cheers for you little witty ditty.

Should we have a Poll

Should Mic Invert or not Invert ? That is the question.

I do it on certain things to give them different feels rather than just a bland image, should I take my Arty Farty Stuff somewhere else ? do we just want normal Pics here ?

Mic

Give me feedback and I'll stop if it really irrits people.
I'll just invert in private, all by my self.

Mic, true that. I'll post something else I took on the weekend tonight :) Admitedly it was shot while taking photos of birds.

As for shooting Gorillas, all we have are caged ones. Fairly boring to shoot animals at the zoo I find.

mic

Strangely I like this one. I think it's the colours and the way the top part looks translucent (as Darryl said - like glass)
