Another Sunset from Canberra . . . . .Yere, I know it is another sunset, but I thought that it was a good looking sunset. This is taken from the "other" side of the lake in Canberra, looking towards sunset.
In light of the feedback I received last time, I thought it only fair to show you my next attempt: Shutter: 1/1600 Aperture: 7.1 ISO Speed: 200 Lens: 55.0 - 200.0mm Sigma DC Focal Length: 200.0mm Canon EOS300D Comments welcome! Tristan 12/6/5 11:36 EDIT: Image location updated, I am having issues with my web server. Last edited by ozonejunkie on Mon Jun 13, 2005 12:36 am, edited 1 time in total.

I like the way the line of clouds parallels the line of the trees.

Hi BP,
I like the picture, it is one of several typical Canberra sunsets when clouds are around. I don't believe it is over saturated - we get these sunsets live here ! Cheers CD
Nice pic, Tristan. Might be a nice wallhanger.

Tristan. This is excellent.
This shot has everything right about it that was wrong in the sunset shot in your first post. You've got great clouds that are beautifully lit, nicely silhouetted trees on the horizon to give more visual interest and to top it off the image is well cropped. This one's a definite winner Peter

Thanks guys,
Re: the comment of over saturation, this image has had very little PP applied, and is currently a good representation of the "way it was". Would it be better to perhaps "expose" the image a bit less? Thanks Tristan Canon User
