All the fun of the fair...Embi was in Sydney at the weekend, so I did a mini-tour of Sydney with him and his fiancee on Monday afternoon. We ended up at Luna Park / Milson's Point for some early evening / night shots...
We both rapidly came to the conclusion that we needed to invest in a decent tripod, but managed to get some half reasonable shots by resting our cameras on camera bags, railings and posts... Here are some of my reasonable shots: Cheers, John

That's some impressive stuff esp w/out tripods
Nicely done, John. The eyes shot is pretty cool. The makeshift support seems to have worked fairly well.

You probably heard my tripod before seeing it... The Velbon Squeak... Cheers, John

embi,
should wait for the week with the mini meet and join the Sydney troop. You had lot of fun, I believed. Great capture. Birddog114

Great stuff, I really like the trio of evening light shots. Plenty crisp and sharp to look at from my end. Inspires me to try some slower shutter speed stuff and play with less than perfect daylight more often. Grat interest, good frraming and composition. I like the wheel in front of the taller buildings best.
