Dog action shotHi,
A picture taken at the beach yesterday I called it "Bebe, catch me if you can!" I cropped it from the original picture, would more beach on the sides make it "better"? The picture represents the good time that these two were having at the beach Cheers, André/Radar

For a shot like this where you want to convey action it's better, if possible, to have the animal running into the shot (ie left to right or right to left or diagonally). In this shot they're coming straight at the camera so it kills the movement a little. This is a nice capture technically apart from that. Take the dogs back to the beach again and try this from the other angles then see which has better feel. Generally (when you want the running into the pic effect) you'd crop so there was extra space in the area to be run into - if that makes sense. Peter
