my 1st D70s submition..went for a little drive into town after the 18th June minimeet
and met a few birds that afternoon, one asked me very politely "please let me pose for you by the water arthur..." both taken with the 70-300 G handheld with a CPL filter Last edited by shockadelica- on Wed Jun 22, 2005 6:15 am, edited 3 times in total.
Pretty good shot, Art. Color and exposure is good. The head and eye are a little soft. You might want to stop down a little, to find the sweet spot for sharpness on the lens at that focal length and keep your ISO up high enough so that you can have a shutter speed fast enough to minimize camera shake.

From Arthur to ArthurHi Arthur,
I am surprise at the sharpness and quality of your shots here. The sharpness, clarity and colour is definitely better that what i would have expected of the 70 - 300G. The first is tact sharp. regards, Arthur Yeo.
Art - yet again someone has proved this lens to be very capable in the right hands - lovely sharp shots
