Yep... starting to get the thought processes in action... tried to get a little prompt by finding something I liked on the web to emulate (but still be original cause otherwise I reckon that's cheating) but you know what? can't find a damn thing I'd vote for myself !!!
I do have a couple of ideas that would be great but wrong time of year for both of 'em.

Oh well... that what makes a challenge so...mmm... challenging of course !!!

MJ - B&W photography is all about contrast, and maximising it. Try using the high contrast tone setting, or a custom high contrast curve.

I read somewhere that for a B&W image to work successfully, it has 1 region of pure white, 1 region of pure black, and the rest shades of grey.

The above are easier said than done. I know I'm lacking inspiration and subject for the challenge #2 entry.
