Information re SB800

Postby Jeff on Mon Jun 20, 2005 6:48 pm

This my first post and I would like some advice on the use of the SB800.I guess TTL for indoors and TTLBL for outdoor shots. When is it best to use the diffusion dome? I know this is fairly basic stuff but next week I have been asked to record an important birthday and do not want to mees up.
Regards

Hi Jeff
and welcome. I don't have an SB800 (yet), but one thing I'd suggest is you use the search tool here to look for SB800. I know there have been a number of posts about it. I'd also suggest you look at Peter iNova's excellent D70 ebook which has a largish chapter on the SB800

Not ignorant Jeff, just new

That's part of it, but there's a more detailed search option here which you can access by clicking Search at the top of most forum pages. To search for say TTL and SB800 you would type TTL AND SB800. When you click search you'll get all posts where the two specified words appear together.

Also You can buy Peter iNova's eBook here. It's on disc and has a whole lot of photoshop extras as a bonus. It covers pretty much all you need to know when starting out with the D70 (and then some)
