Spain - Beautiful Sevilla - Placa Espana 1

Postby Matty B on Thu Jun 23, 2005 7:42 pm

Hi all, Now for some pics from Spain. Sevilla, a beautiful city, covered in parklands and magnificent open public places and spaces such as this one, The Spanish Plaza or Placa Espana as they would have it in Andalusia. This is a single building, used as Govt. dept offices, currently being internally renovated. Arcitechture - well have a look!

ISO 200 1/80th 12mm f/8 Hoya CPL 12-24mm DX - Thanks to Birdy!

Cheers,

Matty B.

You sure that was at 12 mm? It doesn't look that wide? Absolutely spectacular though, awesome shot! :)

Thanks for comments everyone. bp yes, a painting - I got a lot of this sort of painted image before I changed my colourspace from Adobe 98 to s RGB. The CPL has a great effect on this painted look too - I don't mind it at all though. I have some more images from this place which I will upload tonight.

MCWB , yes, you are correct, this was the one shot I closed down to 14mm for to eliminate a fellow tourist and his shadow on the left of frame. I appologise for the oversight.

Chris, most of gaudi's work was to be had in Barcelona which I visited first up upon entering Spain. It rained or was overcast for much of the gaudi buildings but I did force myself to take some shots of La Segrada Familia which I will post soon.

Thanks for all your remarks and pointers,

Matty B.
