New Pro-Photography site from Microsoft

Postby leek on Fri Jun 24, 2005 10:48 am

Not necessarily recommending it yet, but it is interesting that Microsoft have set up a site dedicated to pro-photographers using Windows XP.

There's not much on it yet, but it does have a pretty reasonable overview of the issues involved in the digital workflow... A good read for beginners and intermediates...

There's also a link to a White Paper by Epson that discusses the permanence of prints.

Happy reading...
Cheers, John

John,
Do you know: BG has a Casio P&S with 2MP and his wife uses a mobile phone camera

For all we know, he might still be using DOS and trying to capture his images using command line :P

Now that'll be interesting...taking a photo with a camera which uses command line statements ;)
