Price as posted previously! Lower price maybe won't happen at least another 24 months on this model.
Wait for the replacement of the D100. I'll get one too if it's available by the end of this year.

Birdy what does the D100 have over our D70? As same mp i think, and well not sure if there is a lot of dif from memory, but is there going to be a replacement and maybe something worth while.

Same level of MP of the D70, features as battery pack and vertical grip, 10 pin socket, solid built.

D70, faster focus and I think the D70 with more buffer and features than the D100, my D100 is now do the full time backup, only use it in an event when I need four photogs to cover.

Ok yes thats what i thought, i have seen 1 here in the local Kmart shopping centre, being used for like pixie type photo's had a studio flash hooked up and shooting this way.

The battery grip would be great i think for shooting in vert postition with a shutter button on it would be good. I dont really think we need to run dual batteries as i have never flattened mine yet. I brought a spare battery incase but have never used it yet and i can shoot 2 days on the 1 battery leaving the camera on most of this time. What more can we ask for,but faster focussing, more fps and that would keep me happy.

Birdy
perhaps your name should be changed to LustMaster ???

It might be easier if we all just have our pay packets directly paid into your account......???

If my lust overcomes me and I wish to purchase a D2x from birdy, am I able with the amount of posts I have? Is there a waiting list or something?

I have been obsessing over the D2x so much that perhaps the only way to free my mind is to get one. Lust is truly the word, and a four letter one at that...

Thanks birddog. I might get the chance to meet some of you on the Stockton beach meet. I have a 4WD that can seat 7 - has there been much demand for more seats?

If this is the case, post your offer to the thread and members may join in with you.

Sorry, what 4WD do you have?
