Tokina 12-24 shotsHi guys, I've managed to get my butt into gear, and have converted some of the shots I took at the Harbour meet (a while back).
For those that are interested, here are a couple that I took with the Tokina. There has been some adjustments made for exposure and croping in PP 1. Generic bridge/house shot (aka the "Glen shot") 2. A shot of the rocks near the Luna Park face 3. A crop of the second shot I'm not sure why, but the nef files are sooo much sharper than the converted jpeg ones (conversion done in CS). Anyone know reasons that may cause this? My impressions of the lens btw, are that it is quite well built - and the picture quality is acceptable (for me) - note it is definitely NOT a pro lens, but then again, I'm not a pro shooter either..!!
wile,
The pier at the bridge is falling down, and it seems to me the bridge was push to far to the northern side, what have you done? Birddog114

JPEG is a compressed file format, so you will lose definition when converting your NEFs to JPEGs. When you save as a JPEG in Photoshop, there is a slider to adjust the image quality, which in turn alters the final file size. Nice shots too, BTW! Chris
