I'm interested, but I would only be able to do Saturday 9th. So if you were doing the expedition on the Saturday, I'm in, but I would need a ride, no 4WD, I won't have the Subary that day . If not much is going on for the Saturday, next time for me
Thanks, André
Andre, You can check with sheepie and he may give you an allocation on his Forrester. I put your name on the list in case, and I would like to do it on Saturday the 9th, leave the Sunday for other activities or DIY. Birddog114

Hi,
just a note for those taking their 4WD on Stockton beach. You will need a day pass to drive on the beach. See the PDF for selling agents: http://portstephens.local-e.nsw.gov.au/files/39202/File/Agents2005.pdf It is $5.00 and it is good for the weekend. More info at: http://portstephens.local-e.nsw.gov.au/community/1018/6364.html HTH, André

VNAF, My Beloved Country and Airspace
not sure about our plans at this stage - maybe stay in Newcastle rather than Port Stephens, depends on costs. Most probably won't be joining for dinner even if we're staying there
*** When getting there is half the fun! ***
Accomodation in Anna Bay or many motels, caravan parks in the area are not bad atm, cos it's the low season, you can find something around $55.00/ night.

Argh, I was entertaining the thought of coming up just for the day, but now I have a Yum Cha appointment at lunchtime as well as a dinner to go to, so I'll have to pass. Goddamn social life! Enjoy the shoot guys, and more importantly, the company!
Just looking at the weather forecast at the BOM. SOunds like a repeat of our last attempt
Friday Rain developing. Cool. Light west to southwest winds at first, turning moderate to fresh southeast to northeast afternoon and evening. Saturday Rain. Cool. Moderate to fresh west to northwest winds becoming strong near the coast. Sunday Isolated showers, scattered in the east. Cool. West to southwest winds. Peter

No worries - we can make our own fun. Already booked and paid, so no pulling out now The weather may put a little dampener on things (hopefully only a little!), but it can also make for some really nice shots. Don't let it put you off! *** When getting there is half the fun! ***
I'm in anyway, enjoying shooting with the D2 series bodies on the windy day with rain and sand.
