A foggy Melb morning...Decided to take my camera into work this morning and caught a couple of shots of the fog as it made it's way over the city.

Not that I've been, but that second photo reminds me of Central Park in New York for some insane reason...
Thats awesome Dave! I always look forward to your images.
Nice one! By the way, what sort of script are you running for your frames? Cheers, Jase. Jase - 'Motorcycle Gallery' - 'Car Gallery'
Thanks Jase I'm using a slightly converted version of a Fred Miranda Frame and I manually include the EXIF info using the text tool. I generally only work on one photo at a time (rarely batch process), so I can afford to be a little more "manual", so to speak. Dave

nice images. I wish I had more time to shoot when I am walking to work.
I walk over the Telstra dome - Bourke st bridge at 5:30am every morning and this morning the fog was making some great light from the blue lights of the rialto towers. I'll have to go in a few minutes early one day.
These are beautiful, Dave! I wanted to do the same over the weekend when someone was home to look after the kids..........NO FOG!! Typical! Tommorow morning should be a good one, might have to go somewhere with the kiddies in tow!
I really love the 2nd one, it's eerie!
Security blokes might ban you due to security reasons
HI Dave, Great pics and well all i can say os that you are lucky to see this much, been that foggy here that i cant even see the job site from the road and well only good thing is that the heaters work well in the truck but yeh i like these shots, well done.

Wow, Dave these are great! The way the light is trickling over some buildings while the fog drifts over... The rolling fog in the second... They've both really captured the feeling very well...
Take you camera along for the ride more often, these are worth printing and framing... Aka Andrew
Nice shots...
I can see the balcony of my old apartment in the first... Would these have been taken from the ANZ tower perchance??? or nearby??? Cheers, John

thanks to everyone for your comments.
I was really happy with the 2nd one and will certainly print it out. It pays to take your camera when you can manage it. If you find you get home and have only one keeper, it was still worth the effort. Now I finally have my Mini Trekker backpack, bringing the camera to work is so much easier (and conspicuous), compared to the aluminium hard-case I used to carry it around in, which made everyone stare.... From memory it was somewhere between 7.30 - 8am. Looks like I picked the best day. Out the windows this morning were just a blanket of white. Dave
