I did a quick WhoIs search on door2door-shipping.org and door2door-online.org. Neither have been around for long - about a month.

Googling came up with this
http://www.ripoffreport.com/results.asp ... 3=&q2=&q7=
and this
http://answercenter.ebay.com/thread.jsp ... =810062027

I would probably be a bit leery about this. The scams may not be related to the companies, but ...

Does your purchase look anything like a scam? Who contacted who......

Maybe a good move. If it smells like a rat it usually is when it comes to internet scams.

I meant to ask before. Did they ask for a Western Union transfer?

Cheers

Strange how http://www.door2door-online.org and http://www.door2door-shipping.org have near identical web sites, same addresses but different phone numbers. I'd have cancelled too. I think you owe Matt a beer

From their perspective, that's cash in their bank.

Where, at that point, do you think your purchased product would be likely to be ? :)

How did they manage to get a .org address?

I thought that was reserved for not-for-profit / non-profit organisations, not just an alternate system for companies..

Dean, as I recall you just pay for it. Most companies seem happy to take your money. Seems more a guide than rules with regard to .org etc

Dean,

In Australia that's basically the case (.org.au) but not so in the US,
