Scott, it is pretty obvious you live where the spies are, I tried to zoom in the Sydney map and it has nowhere near the resolution of the Canberra map

I reckon, after looking at the Pentagon map, that a rocket launcher on one of the boats in the marina would just about do the job. On the other hand, one of those big spaceships from Independance Day would be better

I've been playing with Google Earth quite a bit and highly recommend it... It is far more interactive and really brings the satellite photos to life...

You will need a fairly good PC & good broadband connection to run it and unfortunately it doesn't have a Mac (or Linux) client yet...

If you want to have some fun, download the highlights file and take a virtual flying tour of the world's best spots / sights...

mini-Leek loves the animation of it... I've finally taken her to Disneyland (cheapskate )...

Also... If you want to have some fun with Google Maps, someone has set up a Google Sightseeing site...

I've spent a little time tonight, (ok, a lot of time tonight), exploring some of the by-ways of this fascinating site.

From geotagging to podcasting descriptions of pix, to putting Australian postcodes on pix, to psychology and sex, to tips on coffee shops in Glebe, it's very 'sticky' as a site for me.

I wonder if any other members have found it as adhesive?
