Hawai'i - some pics

Here are some pics from around Hawai'i (some Oahu & Kauai so far - still got loads to go through and find the keepers) from May when I was there for my wedding & honeymoon...

Wow, Hawaii certainly is a very photogenic place. You've got some great pics in that lot. The two plam trees and the bird from above stand out for me. ;)

Thanks Steve! The palm trees are really strange in that to me, they look pale/faded (even though there wasn't much PP). And the bird...that was a bit of a fluke...I managed to get about 3 out of 20 in flight shots in focus, and I don't think I got one that conveyed what it was like to be there with the birds doing their thang in the wind up the cliffs.

The trees are dark as the sky is what's been used for the light reading. You'll notice the ground is a bit dark also. The focus also appears to be on the forground more so then the trees.

Really love the 4th and 5th images in along the top row.

Happy days (wedding and honeymoon ;) )

Wacky, looks like some great memories there. The 2 palms is also my favourite (if you shot it in raw you could change the exposure).

I'll see if I shot those palms in RAW too and have a play with the exposure to see if I can clean it up.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
