Getting larger prints

I have an Epson multifunction printer which suits my printing needs - up to A4 size and quality that is good enough my wall prints at home. I'd like to know what options there are to get bigger prints done - not poster size, but bigger than A4 - for those extra special shots that deserve a bigger format and proper framing. As my MF printer is new I'm not considering another printer purchase (sorry Birddog!), so where - commercially - can I get bigger prints done?

Well i'm not in Sydney but up here in QLD I take my enlargements to Photo Continental (Pro Processing). I have also had prints done on canvas and silk (a 1m x 1m canvas is normally under $90) I have these printed at ArtNow a local Art Studio.

For prints up to 10" by 15", I go to the local <a href="http://www.rabbitphoto.com.au/home.asp">Wascally Wabbit</a>. Costs $5 for members (a $10 annual fee). It's a <1-hour service too, which I like.

<a href="http://www.hydrophotographics.com.au">Hydro Photographics</a> up in Port Macquarie go up to 12" x 18" and seem to have a good reputation. You can send them images by mail on CD or via upload, although I've only tried the latter, unsuccessfully.

I did try a few A3 prints from OfficeWorks, but these were basically like big colour photocopies, and not of photographic quality nor on photo paper. No doubt someone will have experience of Kinko's or somewhere that does large format at a good quality and price.

Most specialty photo stores should be able to help you, i had a digital photo printed at around 30" by 20" for $30 or so at a local place in Adelaide.

Just an update:

Yep, sure went "wow" - I uploaded my image at 10pm on Wed, and got home today to find my big print of Illawarra Morning waiting for me. The quality is excellent, prices great, and I can't argue about the service.

Either could I, but once you download their software and start an order, the price list appears. Some examples: 20x25cm $3, 20x51 pano $3, 25x38 $5.50, 30x40 $8, up to 30x107 $22. I think delivery was something like $7 9depends on weight of the order).
