Hi There....I was introduced to this user group by one of your members just today. Have been into Nikon Digitals for over two years and didn't even know this site existed.....Better late than never I guess.

I look forward to learning from and contributing to what looks like a great forum.

Welcome Smac - if you've been introduced by an existing member, no doubt you'll already be aware of the two things that set this site out from all the others out there:
1. Super-friendly people
2. The meets - whether they be the simple mini-meets which occur most Saturdays, or the full-on meets at exotic locations, these are the heart and soul of the community. These really are the bit that puts this group into the living, rather than simply an online forum :)

Sheepie, You are spot on, not only did he tell me about the site but also told me about the meets and the support that you get from the members (not to mention good deals on otherwise very expensive Nikon equipment) too bad I didn't know this before i took out a mortgage to buy my new camera and SB800 flash......

Hi Marvin,

I have had a D100 for 2 years and have just bought a D2X (only shot about 40 frames with it so far). I have a 24-85 AFS G lens and a 70-300 D lens...also have a SB800 which I haven't even used yet.

Cheers

lens lust is a term I had never even heard of until joining here.

Now I want to get lenses that start @ <= f/2.8. Thanks D70Users!

Hi smac, welcome ;) Nice kit by the sounds of it!!!

Welcome the fifth D2x owner on this board!

Thanks for the welcome Birddog, I can see I have much to learn......I would welcome a D2X section and look forward to getting to one of your meets soon.

I just downloaded the new Adoble Raw converter for CS2 as I see that it has now got built in support for the D2X (previous ones couldn't handle the WB changes in the D2X Raw file). Seems to work Ok but haven't spent much time on it (about 5 mins)
