Kenko 3x Teleconverter ???

Postby Chazman1981 on Sat Jul 02, 2005 12:30 pm

HI
Just wanted to know if anyone has had experince with the Kenko 3x teleconverters. i dont want to spend another fortune on another lens.
the wife wants to take photos of the moon and the 300mm doesnt take her there, so i am guessing that with the teleconverter and the 300mm lens and the focal lenth it should ruflfy be about 1200mm?

if anyone has had a bit of a go with this teleconverter please let me know.

or any other good solutions like a spotting scope that can connect to the d70 or telescope. if anyone can steer me towards packages and prices it would be good thanks

Cheers

I have not used the Kenko 3x but from my experience with a 2x you do lose quality - it would seem to me that spending money on an item that is not going to give great results would be a waste
