Australian DragonsHi all,
I'd like to share with you some Australian dragons. I was at the Melbourne Aquarium and had a go at using the SB-800 flash. BTW all photos were taken with the kit lens. The water dragon: http://downunder.customer.netspace.net. ... dragon.jpg The leafy dragon: http://downunder.customer.netspace.net. ... /leafy.jpg The weedy dragon: http://downunder.customer.netspace.net. ... /weedy.jpg Cheers CTD

Sensational.
So much colour and so sharp too, especially considering you had to shoot through thick glass. Steve.

KillaKoala - How do you know Christiand didn't climb in the dragon cage and snap away or use an underwater camera housing and jump into the aquarium such as the lengths our members will go to to take exceptional shots such as these? Excellent photos - especially the reptile pic Thanks for sharing also Graham
Great shots christiand, you must have a really good camera.
(Joking of course, hope you read the other thread....) I still haven't been to the aquarium, an oversight that needs to be remedied. Greg - - - - D200 etc

Love the water dragons. Skilful use of the flash and technically well done. They look so fragile! Beautiful composition. The first dragon seemed a little too yellow so I copied the image and used the grey eye dropper in Photoshop (curves), to correct the colours. I think it looked better but I would not post your pic back without your permission. I would rather you posted it as you see best. Keep them coming! Regards

I assume you know this part of Melbourne: http://downunder.customer.netspace.net. ... -china.jpg Cheers CTD
for Matt, please go aheadHi Matt,
I also saw the image being a little bit too yellow and wasn't sure what to do. Please show me your suggestions. Cheers CTD
for VicareyusHi Vicareyus,
I believe this is an even funnier photo: http://downunder.customer.netspace.net. ... -fish2.jpg Cheers CTD
Re: for Greg B
Yes I do christiand, and that's a good shot. The mood on a wet night is well captured, nice work. Was it handheld or tripod? Greg - - - - D200 etc
