Visa Card Theft a while back ...

Postby darb on Mon Jul 04, 2005 6:17 pm

An update for those who remember my email of a couple months back ....

Palmyra police called to advise theyve charged a 17 year old youth who admitted he is the guy in those photos (unbelievable.). He is flatmate of the liquor store attendant where I last used my card!

They suspect the attendant in the bottle shop was involved as a few other cards went missing, but cant get enough evidence and the attendant is playing hardball with a lawyer, so not pursuing him. (for now.)

Goes to show, dont ever rip someone off in perth unless youre wearing a balaclava !

Brad.

A good outcome. lets hope now that they throw the book at him and get some more evidence for the other fellow.

Wow... good result...

He looked older than 17 in the photos, but that just goes to show what a rubbish witness I would make...

If the liquor store attendant was in on the scam, I'm surprised that you got hold of the security photos in the first place (or was that a different place?)
Cheers, John

Great to hear Darb. If he's going to go the lawyer track, well hopefully one day someone will throw something other than a book at him ;)

So the wheel of justice that turneth so slowly and misseth not a hairs breadth will extraxteth its vegeanceth. He willeth be sorry but to no avail...off with his head.

Excellent news indeed Darb...I say when he's in the local cop shop for questioning, you take down your D70 + SB-800 and fire the flash at him until the batteries run out :). Hell, I can loan you my SD-8A flash battery pack (evil grin). 'Oh, the photos...just typical mug shots' :D
