forum management issueHi folks
Did a search before asking this question but was unable to find an answer so I apologise if this question has been asked previously. I'm wanting to delete some old images that have been included in posts to this forum six months or so ago. If I delete the images, anyone reading the old post, will not see the image any more, but will see a small boxed cross indicating that the image is not there. What would be a respectful length of time to keep the images on a server before they can be deleted so that no-one is offended? Thanks Graham
You can remove them whenever you want.
Over time, threads become older and the files they once linked to may be removed... it's not that big of a deal. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au

2 months sounds like a good limit to me...
Cheers, John

Yup.
Whenever you want is acceptable, mind you. It does come down the logic that it's your space and you do what you want with it. If a thread becomes defunct as a result, no biggie. If someone wants to see what the image looked like, they can always pm the thread starter and ask. Producer & Editor @ GadgetGuy.com.au
