Photo's gone MIAPhoto's gone missing in action (MIA)
I have a problem - well i have many but this one relates to my D70. I have just spent a week away bushwalking and rockclimbing up north and taking photo's as i go. Today i took some photo's and deleted one which was blury and then the camera showed in the display something like 'no data contained in this folder' but on the display on the top of the camera it showed that there was 50 odd photo's remaining (shows 148 when no photo's on the camera) ,i can only download the photos that where taken today but according to the display on the top of the camera there is about 60 photo's still on the camera. i didn't change anything on the camera and to delete the photo i used the trash can button on the back of the camera as i always do. just wondering if anyone has any idea where the missing photo's are and more importantly how i can get them back? cheers James
You could use an external card reader and image recovery software. PC Inspector is a free program that works quite well. http://www.pcinspector.de/file_recovery/UK/welcome.htm
I use mediarecover which I have had success with too. Good luck!
thanks
just read another post not far down the page about something similar happening. I just downloaded the program and i will try to see if i can recover them - fingers crossed cheers James
