Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent. Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature. Images posted here should conform with the general forum guidelines. Image sizes should not exceed 950 pixels along the largest side (height or width) and typically no more than four images per post or thread. Warhammer DudeI was messing with my old Tamron manual 90mm. Hand held and put the figure on the kitchen table. He had an army behind him. I think I used flash but I'm not sure what settings.

looks like it could be a great shot... do you have a bigger version?
cheers http://www.markcrossphotography.com - A camera, glass, and some light.
Hi Xerbus I do have a bigger version and will post. I have been struggling with the shrinking but will have another go. It looks a bit like a postage stamp. Better looking than the queen what do you think? Peter Mc Nikon & Olympus

Peter, I think you may have right clicked on the pixspot thumbnail and picked up the url from there. You need to left click on the thumbnail, that will bring up a larger size picture. Then you left click on that again will give you an even bigger size picture. It's on this biggest picture that you right click to get the url to include in your post.
At least I think I got all my clicking correct. It takes a bit of mucking around to get the hang of it, but once you've got it, you'll remember it (especially if you post images frequently). Don't forget to use the preview button when you post to D70Users, that way you can see if the image looks right. Hope this helps, Cheers John
You can make the image display even bigger Peter.
For pixspot, if the image name has got Thumb just before your photo name (at the end of the url), it's a thumbnail. If it's got Normal just before the photo name, it's still small. If it hasn't got either, it's the full size that you uploaded to pixspot. Cheers John
Its my first picky post and I was just experimenting. My 12 yr old son paints these things and talks about them a lot. They are only about 4cms high and obviously when you enlarge them bigger than their real size you can see all the imperfections.

I like it
It was a great post Peter. I followed it to the letter and the actual site gave me the impression that all was well. I am not sure what I did to fix the problem but I think it may have had something to do with the selection of the album. It works every time now. This picture is just one I used to expermiment. Thanks for your help. I think you have anticipated just about everything that is possible from the user's end. Have a good week. Peter Mc Nikon & Olympus
