Singapore Port and City panoHi All,
Singapore Port and City. 7 landscape shots from the head of Merlion at Sentosa Island. Stitched with Panorama Factory Mikhail
Hasselblad 501CM, XPAN, Wista DX 4x5, Pentax 67, Nikon D70, FED-2
hIYou did a good job stitching the pictures together. The problem lies in:-
1. Cloudy singapore weather - always cloudy. you have to take early in the day or late evening. 2. The cranes are an eye sore. There are too many elements in the picture. There is no unifying theme. regards, Arthur
Mikhail
I looked at this when you first posted, but refrained from commenting since it didn't grab me, but I was unsure why (I don't like criticism if I can't be constructive ). The pano is good work, but I'd like a bit more colour intensity in it and, like Arthur, it comes down to all those cranes. They really make it a very busy shot and they break the flow of vision across the image which works against the whole concept of a pano. Peter

Thanks guys! Actually it was all about all those cranes. I was trying to show Singapore port, how big and amazing it is and cranes are the part of it. So, bad try. Next time I'll be there I'll try something different Probably, those buildings in foreground have to be cut off Mikhail
