Lovely shot, it's got nice cosy atmosphere... Besides the glass, I like the flower patterns on the table and the person reading in the background. Maybe the wine would come out better if the background was a bit lighter though.

While I like the person in the background, I find the flowers on the tablecloth far too strong, and for me they detract from the simplicity of the wineglass's stem. I'm also wondering how a similar image might have looked, with just the lipstick on the glass as the primary foreground subject, plus the person in the background. g.

I agree with Gary on this - my first impression was the lipstick on the glass and thought what a great comment photo this would make.
I do like this pic but would like to see the table cloth in the foreground defocussed in PS or similar. Well done Brandon Chris

I'm agreeing on these comments as well. The sharpness of the table detracts from the lovley wine and background. --Wade
